This is a product of my work space as a Caribbean teacher. School Violence is increasing but its not a hot topic yet. The rate of the violent attacks and responses is alarming now. The image is traumatic to observe. However, teachers and students will be asked to enter that same classroom without considering the space a trigger. We will be asked to teach as usual, especially if you were not involved.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), trauma is “an emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape, or natural disaster.” How do we keep the minds of teachers and students healthy after witnessing these events in pictures or in real life. At first I was teaching tired, now I am teaching scared.
