As an intentional seeker of knowledge about communities and their dynamics, I’ve embarked on a quest to understand what truly defines and sustains them. Thus far, my explorations have brought me to two essential aspects: connection and shared interests.

However, I realized that I lacked a concrete definition.

That’s when I found myself returning to my literary sanctuary and diving back into Seth Godin’s timeless masterpiece, “Tribes.”

The pages came alive once again, igniting my curiosity as if it were the very first time. It became clear to me that a community is much more than just a group of people.

A community is a group of people connected to one another, connected to a leader and connected to an idea.
