Sometimes
I image being in her church

Apart of my grieving and healing 
I don’t laugh as much in church again
And sometimes when no one sees
A lil tear comes. Not a lot of times though
So, writing her name is an act of
Remembering
And making people remember
Ivy use to make such a grand effort to come.
And she was coming for support
And coming to a sort of membership
She wasn’t a high member but she was a member and that did something for her
She had a pastor
Lol every Sunday she would send me to look to see if envelopes there for her
And she only want to put in $2.00
Two BIG woman and she only want to put in $2.00. Embarrassing
And if I put in $20.00 she says it’s to much money.
She took writing her name for me on the envelop as a joyous moment. to share her writing with her teacher granddaughter … #bonding#proudgrandmother
Now Rhianna has not claimed the church either. She says we going to Sunday school at grandma’s church. I said yes it’s her church. Her name is Ivy.
I think she would have been happy to see us here. Then Rhinana would tell me bring mommy to church next week.
