 “Play is the work of childhood.” Maria Montessori.

It is summer and community camps are on.

Parents need child care and entrepreneurs and community groups and providing child care and play.

Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning.

But for children, play is serious learning.

LET OUR CHILDREN PLAY!

During play children can teach us who they are, what their interest and abilities are and so it is easier for the adult to connect with our children.

Play allows for the development of imagination, exploration and inquiry.

So, I play with children as an educator.
