During a GOGODONE mastermind group,
I presented my work portfolio and asked for feedback.

Tassa and Robin called me back after the meeting and explained I was aiming too low. She pointed to the portfolio and explained I am doing more than I am reaching for.

I watched both women as we were seated in different spaces in the world and cried.

I said, “Where I come accomplished women don’t speak to younger women like this.”

You are a visionary Micheleina. You see through CARE. You are able to see what a Community/Company needs and design the change.

I cried some more. “That’s not a visionary on my island that’s a rebel Tassa.

But you can do it.

She helped me find my niche in diversity, inclusion, and equity.

I went to work to learn about it: (Corporate Social Responsibility)

After…

-I was invited by the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School to Chair their graduation and I spoke to the ideas of Diversity Equity and Inclusion. The parents, educators, and stakeholders were pleased. They stood with me literally and said YES! Thank you!

-Collin Brown helped me to organize a DEI campaign using radio and other platforms. After the first show, DJ Rinch said, “What you are saying is not only impressive it is important. I never saw blind people come to the studio.” You are going to need to be braver because when you want to speak about these issues people will be helped.
Rinch this is all the bravery I have.

-Members of the St. Kitts Nevis Disabled Association reached out to me (we need people like you to help us)

-Special Educators reach out to me: (I listened to the show. Thank you.)

-Parents/Grandparents (What you are doing is helpful we cannot hide our children anymore

-The Community, (I listen to the show Micheleina, thanks for being brave, you are impressive)

-Weeks said to wait and see they will be doing what you say, pay attention because we are paying attention to you.

-The elder comrade (Micheleina, do you understand your power? Do you understand what you mean to the movement?)

I raised my hands, and I made an assertion based on what Collin Brown said:

Collin Brown (2023) said, “Everyone is replaceable, but everyone has an irreplaceable contribution to make.”

You can make a difference if you are willing to be brave and vulnerable enough, with small acts of goodness You can make a difference.

Now the country is trying to be inclusive.
